So you've done your Open Water course and if you're anything like us you're hooked and ready for the next step. One of the best things about diving is that no matter how much experience you have there's always more to learn and there are plenty of avenues to branch out to. Ask any diver at any level and there's always some new dive site, skill or challenge that they are looking forward too.

The Advanced Open Water Course is designed to give you a peek at different areas of diving, give you more experience and continue your diving adventures. Just like the Open Water Class there's some homework, review, pool practice and open water dives. You'll be studying different specialties from your Adventures in Diving manual and putting what you've learned to use in the water.

The course consists of five open water dives. A deep dive and an underwater navigation dive are required and three more specialty dives will be decided on by the instructor and the class.

Are you a shutter bug? Do you want to be able to hover with little effort? Have you ever wanted to dive a shipwreck? Do you want to know what getting narc'd feels like? No matter what you're diving interests may be there's probably a specialty for it and the Advanced Open Water course will start you down the path. Plus it'll give you the experience and the qualification to go on some of our more advanced dive trips and take some of the more advanced specialties.
